A time of quite repose for wines that lay in French and American barrels between 24 and 30 months in underground caves. Bottle ageing begins in April.
Tasting Notes :
Ripe-bigarreau cherry in colour with purplish hues, luminous and brilliant. It shows very intense frank aromas of balanced complexity among its ripe, soft fruits, with hints of very elegant wood, nuances of toast and roast on a balsamic background and chocolate notes. A round and tasty mouth and a subtle length characterized by a great volume and an intense aftertaste.
Suggestions:
Serving temperature should always fall within the range of 18 - 20°C (62-69°F). It pairs up well with big and small game dishes, red and white meat, legumes, rice dishes and mature cheeses.
